What is JPEG inconsistent on my Canon digital camera mean?
I have a Canon SD850 IS digital camera and every time you remove a card memory, put it on the PC, copy the files, put the card in the camera for photos, a message many of them saying "incompatible jpeg"
This is because there are changes to the JPEG file, just enough to keep your camera to see it as a viable file type. The problem is that you do not follow the workflow recommended by most digital camera users. Shoot your pictures, copy them to your computer and format the card (using the format function in the chambers menu). Although sometimes you can see "the old image files" on the camera, the device was not designed to be an image viewer can always call the Canon Customer Support 800.OK-CANON
